Benita Lim

Benita is a calm, empathetic and inquisitive teacher. Pilates was a practice that supported her as she navigated a challenging period in her life. Today, she seeks to help her students experience the positive effects of being emotionally, mentally and physically in alignment through movement - especially those who are finding a safe space to do so. 

Previously a Barre Instructor and someone who loves varied movements, Benita finds joy in working with individuals who cross-train (Eg. Pilates and Strength Training), as well as active prenatal moms who are looking to maintain their fitness in a safe and beneficial way. Her strength is in stepping into your shoes to make learning meaningful and relatable to you.

Benita’s teaching philosophy is less-is-more. She takes a gentle yet empowering approach to building strength and believes a strong movement foundation is built upon good breathing and awareness. To her, pilates is so much more than an exercise and she is excited to help you uncover your potential through this practice.
